This is just a quick example of how to use firebug to help you style your website. In this example we are changing the appearance of an element by adding new attributes to the class. Keep in mind that the changes that you make in firebug are not permanent. Permanent changes can only be made in the stylesheet. If you are using the thesis theme by wordpress you can simple make the changes in “Thesis Custom Styling” in the dashboard.
Firebug can only be used with Firefox. Sorry but you will have to give up Internet Explorer for this one. To get the firebug tool click on Tools in your firebox browser and drop down the list to Add-Ons. Click on the Get Ad Ons button to start your search. You will have to search the list to find firebug. You will notice that there are hundreds of free plugins that are available.
