The default border for images in wordpress thesis theme is ugly in my opinion is ugly. This is what it looks like out of the box;

I know its only my taste but I like the way the image looks better without the border.  Here is the code to make this happen;

When I upgraded to WordPress 2.8.4 while running Thesis Theme version 1.5 my Post Tags and Categories functions stopped working. I thought that there might be a server error. The server checked out ok and just tried updating my WordPress theme to the most current version of WordPress Thesis theme which is version 1.6. This did the trick. Next time if I have any issues with my WordPress website I will do updates first to see if this fixes the errors.

Whether you are using WordPress or WordPress Thesis Theme, loging into wordpress is the same for either themes. You simply need to type your url plus /wp-admin in the browser. For example if your web address is http://lowcostwebsitesolutions.com you simple need to at /wp-admin like so;

http://lowcostwebsitesolutions.com/wp-admin

This will then take you to the login screen for the WordPress Dashboard. WordPress will remember your user name and password for your next visit. This is a short but sweet wordpress tip hope that it helps.

This video tutorial shows how to put a sidebar form using cforms in your WordPress website. The thing you need to consider when you use the sidebar template in cforms is that you can only use one form. You can use the sidebar form and an normal sized form. So if you plan on using the side bar form then you probably don’t want a page with a contact us form using cforms. This is because you will have to use the narrow width form if you are using it on a page in WordPress. Having more than one form may be over kill anyway.

This is a tutorial on how to change the field names as well as the style of the form for cforms for WordPress. The video uses a thesis themed website but it is the same for all wordpress sites that cforms is installed on. This is a brief tutorial on how to add a page to your navigation bar in Thesis Theme for WordPress.  If you are new to Thesis Theme you need to remember to go to the Thesis Options button in the Appearance category of the dashboard.  You will see the Navigation Menu in the upper right hand corner of the Thesis Options Menu.  You need to make sure that the page is check before it will show up in the navigation menu.  You can also drag the button to the desired position as well.  Just make sure that you click the big ass save button or you wont see it.
